The laboratory is concentrating its efforts to Update the technology and infrastructure of existing laboratory division by replacing with new state- of- the- art instruments and the facelift. The procurement of new technology for the two new laboratories division namely (1) Toxicology (2) Analog and Video analysis are in process. The civil work of Toxicology Laboratory is under taken by the CPWD and the work is likely to be completed during the current financial year. The Laboratory is under active process for getting NABL accreditation certification by the concerned authorities. Initiatives have already been taken in the right direction for Quality management system, Technical up gradations, Equipment calibration systems and above all proper work force as well as work space management of the laboratory for achieving the said certification.
