In house newsletter is an important instrument for intra-organisational communication. I am happy that we are re-launching our bimonthly newsletter ‘KUSHAL’ as "CBI NEWS BULLETIN”. I am confident that "CBI News Bulletin" shall act as an effecting sounding board to the CBI rank and file.

Re-engineering of CBI is under progress. Pointsmen have been appointed region wise for free, frank and close interaction with the consultant Dr. Vinayshil Gautam. We should also form small working groups under the Pointsmen and organize brin storming sessions to generate out-of-the box ideas and suggestions to make the project a success.

Efficient human resource management, effective and timely administrative support is the sine qua non of success of any professional organization such as CBI. Every SP,DIG and Joint Director should accord due importance to these two critical elements in their respective jurisdictions. "CBI News Bulletin" should carry details of such efforts.
