The smooth and efficient functioning of a Department depends upon the infrastructural facilities provided to its Units. The Administration Division of CBI is taking all possible steps to improve the working environment in the branches/ units by improving the infrastructural facilities.

         During the period, sanctions worth Rest. 6,77,461/- were conveyed for special repairs in Office Building, CBI, HO, CBI/Bhubaneswar, development of horticulture work in CBI Academy, Ghaziabad and providing texture paint on walls of suits in possession of CBI at Pragati Vihar, New Delhi. Sanction of competent authority was received from DP&T for payment of rent on enhanced rates w.e.f. 29.05.1999 to 31.3.2007 in respect of NDMC Building, Yashwant Place, New Delhi and also for payment of arrears of rent amounting to Rs. 3.76 crores. Accordingly, the payment has been made to NDMC. Besides, sanction for purchase of one digital photocopier at a cost of Rs. 3,23,701/- was conveyed to SP CBI AHD Ranchi.
