In the present state of fast-changing technology in office work, Administration Division looks forward to equip CBI Branches with modern infrastructure facilities to facilitate improvement in their working.
During the period, sanctions worth Rs. 15,47,206/- were issued to various branches for renovation/repairs works in office/residential buildings i.e., 8 nos. of additional toilets in Type-IV quarters at CBI Pool Quarters at Bhubaneswar, renovation of staircase from ground floor to 2nd floor in Block IV CGO complex, providing and fixing of wire gauge shutters at Residential Quarters at Chandigarh, renovation of Hall of RTC, Kolkata, providing and fixing of vitrified tiles in the office room of DIG & SP, CBI Jaipur, aluminum partition walls at CBI Unit, Ghaziabad, renovation of toilets and bathrooms at Pragathi Vihar Hostel and replacement of defunct tube well in CBI Housing Complex at Kolkata.
Sanctions were also issued for continued hiring of office accommodation. After obtaining the approval of DOPT, sanction for Rs.37,28,277/- was issued for making payment to NDMC in connection with hiring of 6th and 7th floor at NDMC Building, Yashwant Place, New Delhi.
Sanctions for purchase of two projectors, 1 AC, 1 Optimizer, 9 Computers, 10 Printers were also conveyed to various CBI branches in response to their proposals.
Revalidated sanction for Rs. 17,37,820/- and sanction for Rs. 20,28,000/- were received from DOPT and the same were conveyed to CBI Academy for various purposes. Sanction for purchase of 14 Lap tops and renewal of AMC in respect of Computers etc. for a further period of one year were also received from DOPT.
81 cases of Medical Reimbursements of different ranks of various branches were processed and settled with the approval of the competent authorities and necessary sanctions were conveyed to the concerned.
Additional Funds amounting to Rs.2,66,58,977/- were allocated to various branches on their demand under different Heads including Plan.
