The following courses were conducted during the months of January to March, 2008.
Course on "Investigation Abroad" for Inspectors to SsP and APP to Sr.PP of CBI & State Police was conducted from 07th -09 th January, 2008. The course was attended by 32 officers which included 15 officers from CBI and 17 officers from State Police.
Course on "Investigation of Cyber Crimes" was conducted by CBI Academy for Vietnamese Police Officers at Police College of Technique, Hanoi, Vietnam, from 14th -22 th January, 2008. The course was attended by 13 Vietnamese Police Officers.
Course on "Investigation of Homicide cases including Custodial Crime and Capsule on Human Rights" for Inspectors to SsP and APP to Sr.PP of CBI & State Police was conducted from 15th -19th January, 2008. The course was attended by 38 officers which included 12 officers from CBI and 26 officers from State Police.
Workshop/Training Course on "Precursor Chemicals/Drugs related offences" for Inspectors to SsP and APP to ALA of CBI and State Police was conducted jointly by CBI and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime from 22th -23th January, 2008. The workshop was attended by 54 officers which included 48 officers from CBI and 6 officers from State Police.
Computer Familiarization Course for Constables to ASIs of CBI (Northern Region) was conducted from 23th -25th January, 2008, which was attended by 15 officials of CBI.
Course on "Investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act" for SsP and above, DLAs/ALAs of CBI/State Police and Officers of Directorate of Enforcement was conducted from 28 th January-01st February, 2008. The course was attended by 28 officers which included 10 from State Police & 18 from Directorate of Enforcement.
Induction Course for newly inducted LDCs/SCSs of CBI was conducted from 04th -15 th February, 2008, which was attended by 23 officials of CBI.
Course on "Vigilance" for Non-Vigilance Officers of MMTC Ltd. was conducted from 05th -06th February, 2008 which attended by 20 officers of MMTC.
Crash course on "Microsoft E-Learning and Accreditation Module" for Delhi based CBI Officers/Officials was conducted on 5th February, 2008 which was attended by 44 officers of CBI.
Workshop on "Stress Management " for SsP & above of CBI (Delhi based) was conducted on 9th February, 2008 at New Delhi which was attended by 30 officers of CBI.
Workshop on "Medical Reimbursement Cases" for DDOs and Dealing Assistant of CBI was conducted on 11th February, 2008 which was attended by 13 officers/officials of CBI.
Course on Cyber Crime (Incident Response) Level-1 for SIs to SsP of CBI and State Police was conducted from 11th-13th February, 2008. The Course was attended by 10 officers which included 7 officers from CBI and 3 officers from State Police.
Vigilance Course for Vigilance Officers (Junior and Middle Level) of PSUs and Banks was conducted from 11th -15th February, 2008, which was attended by 47 officers of PSUs/Banks.
Course on Scientific Aids to Investigation for SIs to Addl. SsP and APP to Sr.PP of CBI & State Police was conducted from 18th -22th February, 2008. The course was attended by 50 officers which included 13 officers from CBI and 37 officers from State Police.
Course on "Prevention of Unlawful Activities and Cyber Security" for SIs to SsP of State Police was conducted on request of MHA, Govt. of India, New Delhi from 18th -22th February, 2008, which was attended by 14 officers from State Police.
Course on "Investigation of cases of Abuse of official position by Public Servant" for Inspectors to SsP and APP to Sr.PP of CBI, State Police & Officers of Royal Government of Bhutan was conducted from 25th-29th February, 2008. The Course was attended by 57 officers which included 10 officers from CBI, 45 officers from State Police and 02 officers from Royal Government of Bhutan.
Course on "Scientific Interrogation Techniques" for Sub- Inspectors to ASsP, APP to Sr.PP of CBI & State Police was conducted from 03rd-05th March, 2008. The Course was attended by 45 officers which included 16 officers from CBI and 29 officers from State Police.
Workshop on " Anti-Human Trafficking" for Inspectors to SsP and APP to ALA of CBI & State Police was conducted from 10th-11th March, 2008. This Training Programme was jointly organized by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and CBI Academy. The Workshop was attended by 19 officers which included 17 officers from CBI and 2 officers from State Police.
Course on Cyber Crime (Incident Response) Level-1 for SIs to SsP of CBI, State Police and Officers of Govt. of Thailand and Bangladesh was conducted from 10th-12th March, 2008. The Course was attended by 34 officers which included 09 officers from CBI, 17 officers from State Police, 06 Officers from Thailand and 02 officers from Bangladesh.
Course on "Investigation of Disproportionate Assets & Trap Cases" for Inspectors to SsP and APP to ALA of CBI, State Police and Officers of Royal Govt. of Bhutan, Republic of Maldives and Govt. of Bangladesh was conducted from 24th-28th March, 2008 . The Course was attended by 55 officers which included 10 officers from CBI, 41 officers from State Police, 02 officers from Royal Government of Bhutan, 01 officer from Republic of Maldives and 01 officer from Bangladesh.
Training of Master Trainers for developing skills in Writing, Communication, Presentation and Motivation for SIs to Addl. SsP of CBI was conducted from 26th-31th March, 2008. A total of 21 officers participated in the 6 days training programme which was conducted by Dr.D. Raja Ganesan, Former Professor and Head, Department of Education, University of Madras.
