In addition to above, a get together of the CBI officers and their families was organized at CBI Academy on 30.3.2008. The programme was a unique effort and was organized for the first time in such a format. The programme involved formal as well as informal activities. The Academy Cafeteria and Synthetic Lawn Tennis Court were commissioned by the DCBI, followed by informal activities of lawn tennis match, cricket match between HO XI and Academy XI and movie show in the Academy auditorium.
