Seven proposals in respect of departmental officers of CBI, as per details given below, for grant of ad-hoc promotion, are under process in order to remove stagnation and better service avenues :-
- 1 senior most DIG as JD
- 7 + 1 Sr.SP/SsP as ad-hoc DIsG
- 10 SsP as Sr. SsP
- 9 + 8 + 14 DSsP as ASsP (including increase of 8 posts due to likely change in RRs + 14 existing posts)
- 9 + 8 + 14 + 24 + 1 Inspectors as DSsP (including increase of 24 posts due to likely change in RRs + 1 existing post)
- 56 SIs as Inspectors.
Out of the above mentioned seven proposals, one proposal for promotion from DIG to JD has already been sent to DP&T on 30.6.2008.
