The case in Crime No. RC.14/S/2005/CBI/SCB/Chennai relating to cheating by an unknown person posing himself as a CB CID official, on the family of a retired Chief Engineer, PWD, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, residing at Selaiyur, Tambaram, Chennai who were relieved of Rs. 2,10,000/-, 63 Sovereigns of gold ornaments, 51 gold coins of one sovereign each and a diamond necklace from their house on 25.08.2001.
CBI Announces a cash reward of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only), to any person(s) providing information leading to the arrest of the said person. The identity of the person(s) giving such information shall be kept secret.
